At the furthermost bounds of Berry, in the National Park
of La Brenne, also known as the country of thousand ponds,
is located one of the principal ornithological sanctuaries of France.
This well-preserved environment is home to a natural wealth of
enthralling fauna and flora.
This privileged site, in the calm of deep France, is the field of
extending accross 53 hectares of private land,
made up of meadows, woods, two ponds, and a flower garden
On this 17th century manor, carefully restored,
revives the charm of the past
with stone staircases, exposed beams, fireplaces and rustic furniture.
You will find three guestrooms (including a suite for four people), all with private bathrooms. You will appreciate the genuine cuisine that exploits the treasures of the “terroir” and products of the garden (upon reservation).
You will also find two independent guesthouses that have been
entirely renovated with authentic materials.
They offer a lodging of great quality, and can accommodate 3 to 4 people each.
Le Grand Ajoux welcomes you from April to October (other
periods only upon reservation).
